in the night garden activity

Gardening is a fun and educational, and no age limit. You can plant a traditional garden, or allow your child to choose some are specific to grow. Here are some tips for planning a garden and transform it into an activity the whole family can enjoy:

Plant some thing you can eat. Even if you can not harvest their crops immediately, being able to pick up food from the garden and put it directly on the table is a great advantage. Their children are more likely to be healthy foods grown and they have themselves, and if the plant carefully, can be worth a whole season of fresh vegetables in a garden plot inside.

Plant in rotation: If you plan on growing carrots, for example, the plant in several batches. If you plant a few seeds each week, you can uprooting carrots for several weeks in summer. Carrots and radishes are very plants popular with children grow, they are nearly indestructible and fun to make soil. Just make sure that the small farmer does not pull ahead!

Things plants that grow quickly nature takes time but if your plants are slow to develop, children lose interest in May. Consider planting a plant rapid growth and fun as Birdhouse gourds (they are climbers, so make sure they have something to cling to). If pumpkin seeds plant, you can see the growth of plants, then get pumpkins, extending the fun next season. Strawberry, cherry tomatoes, young shoots, and peas are All good, fast growing plants that children can benefit sooner rather than later.

Use integrated pest management. This is a way elegant "use bugs to eat other insects." You can make a statement on the ladybug, that science is fun on your own, and keep the aphids and parasites to devour your plants. Make a toad house Nice to encourage their local failures eat amphibians to visit or create a scarecrow to discourage birds from eating their crops. Using innovative methods and free of chemicals to rid your garden Pest ensures that your food is healthy and will have the opportunity to eat.

Consider container: If you do not have a garden or live in a region making it difficult to garden, consider using pots and containers to grow their garden plants. You can grow plants bigger like tomatoes zucchini and right into a bag of garden soil. Just buy a bag of the right combination of plant you want, jab a hole in it, and place the plant in inside. Many vegetables are happy to grow in this environment, and may place the bags or containers if necessary.

Start with seeds If you plant seeds, remember to put them inside, and watch them sprout. This is a fun and simple science that can do together, and most seeds germinate in just a few days. You can transplant the seedlings to a container garden or later, if necessary.

how much activity you need my dog? How much space?

I have 6 months a boxer / mastiff mix who stays at home with me most of the time now. Camino Him 3 miles per day (usually a walk, but sometimes two trips of 1.5 miles each), and the night was generally to go and play 20 minutes-1 hour (used to play or find a game like football). How much activity is what you need in this age and to what extent is necessary as grow? I bought an invisible fence and will be installing this weekend and work in training to stay in the yard … I am not sure of the size of an area I want to give (theres a half-acre of space, but I want to be a party to himself where he can run and play on the grass without spoiling the garden or anything else). What is the smallest amount of space necessary? I'll leave it on the terrace during the day to avoid boredom … its program of activities, probably will not change (play / daily walk) to be inside at night.

I think it is an absolutely fantastic job this time with caring for your dog Active! Congratulations! Especially in what is growing and through his early years, who need much exercise. What he does now is perfectly fine. Most dogs that I am exercising a lot cheaper than yours does, and still do. Now, I'm not saying he should exercise less than they are today! Keep up the good work. As your dog ages, exercise more he gets, the better. Once there is an "old" you want probably a little less (or at least more "low impact) exercise. But in general, the higher the better. Although lucky!
